Mark Fiore

You don't belong here today. The real story and real entertainment is gushing forth from the minds of political satirists! What? You say those boring old black and white snoozers buried in the decidedly UNcomic pages of the newspaper are no fun?

Thanks to FLASH technology, the boring old political cartoon has become an animated adventure! Leading the pack in this new technology is Mark Fiore. Click on the image below to visit his site, then come back to read the rest!

Mark Fiore is a political cartoonist currently living in San Francisco, the "Promised Land of satirists." His work appears in print and on the web and is seen by millions, "possibly even scrillions." Formerly the staff political cartoonist for the San Jose Mercury News, Fiore has now branched out into animated political cartoons.

Finally, says Fiore, the endless hours sitting in front of the T.V. watching cartoons and eating Cheerios have begun to pay off!

Mark Fiore's print and animated work has appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, SF Gate, Los Angeles Times, Salon.com, Washington Post, Mother Jones, San Jose Mercury News, and Workingforchange.com which is where we found him for this article.

So, get out of here, go visit the Working For Change Gallery of Fiore animated cartoons and then go to Fiore's site and see what his wry wit hath wrought!
